Vice President

John Gale is Vice President of the Board of the Middleburg Community Center and a Vice President of Marketing at Synchrony Financial, where he leads integrated marketing campaigns for a portfolio serving over 70 million cardholders. He is also an Adjunct Faculty member at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, a Lecturer at NYU Stern School of Business, and a Research Fellow with the National Retail Federation, where his work focuses on how artificial intelligence is reshaping how consumers discover brands and products.

John holds a Master of Science in Management from the University of Miami and graduate certificates from Georgetown University and Johns Hopkins University. He is also the founder of Madison & Monroe, a marketing consultancy serving clients at the intersection of AI and business strategy.

John and his family moved to Northern Virginia from South Florida in 2021. They found Middleburg by accident that same year and fell in love with its charm and tight-knit community, settling in the surrounding area in 2024. A believer in servant leadership and lifting up his neighbors, John serves on the board of Banneker Elementary School, fundraises for local causes, volunteers at Trinity Episcopal Church, and helps develop community-based support groups.

When he is not working or volunteering, John and his family are out on horseback. They are avid equestrians who enjoy fox hunting and occasional polo matches. He tries not to fall off, but he likes going fast and jumping whatever is in front of him.
