2026-2029
Carmen Arwine grew up in Loudoun County and cherishes her local roots. She taught second grade for the Loudoun County Public school system before getting married and starting a family. She lives in Upperville with her husband Jason, an Upperville native, and their daughter Patty.
Patty attended Hill School then Foxcroft and is now a student at Sewanee University. Carmen has enjoyed giving back to a community so dear to her and her family.
She has been active on many boards including Buchanan Hall, Christmas in Middleburg Parade and the Middleburg Community Center. She is currently a member of the Piedmont Garden Club and is on the executive committee for the Middleburg Garden Club. In collaboration with
Foxcroft and the Community Center, Carmen launched the wildlly popular Kids Zone during the Christmas in Middleburg Parade.
She also spearheaded the annual Christmas ornament sales to honor the late Em Sharp and her beautiful signs that hang throughout Middleburg during the holidays. Carmen is thrilled to be back at the Community Center during such an exciting time with such a great team!
