Brad Hitchen is a lifelong resident of the Middleburg area and a skilled craftsman with more than 30 years of experience in woodworking. He owns and operates a custom woodworking business, where he sources local timber and mills his own materials to create handcrafted pieces tailored to each client’s specifications. His work reflects a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, sustainability, and the natural resources of the Virginia Piedmont.

Brad is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College, where he earned degrees in History and Biology. Outside of his work, he enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with his daughter, Evelyn, who attends Banneker Elementary School. The two spend much of their summers at their family beach house in Rehoboth, Delaware.

As a newly appointed board member of the Middleburg Community Center, Brad is honored to give back to an organization that has been a meaningful part of his life. Having experienced many memorable occasions at the Center, he values the opportunity to continue those traditions with his daughter while helping ensure the Center remains a vibrant gathering place for future generations.
